The legacy of the shared universe has also shown itself in later films. In the 2010 film Predators , when the group of main protagonists enters the Predators' camp, there is a brief view of a Xenomorph skull on the ground (as well as the lower jaw of a Xenomorph on the helmet of the Berserker Predator), referring to a similar moment from Predator 2 when an Alien skull is seen in the trophy room of the Predator spaceship. Furthermore, the 2018 film titled The Predator featured several references to Alien vs. Predator such as the shurikens, mask designs, and Alexa's spear which the Predator named Scar made out of an Alien tail. [ 3 ] An alternate ending for The Predator displaying a Weyland-Yutani Corp pod containing Ripley and Newt from Aliens (both played by Breanna Watkins) wearing a Weyland-Yutani breathing apparatus shaped like a Xenomorph Facehugger was also intended to further connect to the Alien saga. Le Predator, gravement blessé, est rapatrié à bord de son vaisseau mère qui attendait en orbite. Le Predator ayant en réalité été infecté par un Facehugger dans la pyramide, un Chestbuster éclot (c'est donc un Alien issu d'un Predator, le Predalien ). Le Predalien se glisse dans un Chasseur Predator, petit vaisseau de chasse qui se sépare du vaisseau mère (cette scène n'est visible que dans la version non censurée de AVP: Requiem , c'est pourquoi le vaisseau paraît assez petit quand il s'écrase par rapport à sa taille d'origine vue dans AVP ). Le Predalien met l'équipage du vaisseau en difficulté et celui-ci s'écrase près d'une petite bourgade américaine. Une multitude de Facehuggers issus d'un élevage contenu dans le vaisseau se répand dans la nature, générant une multitude d'Aliens aux environs de la ville puis en ville (par hôtes humains).
Meanwhile, the Xenomorphs free the Queen by using her acid blood to melt her restraints, allowing her to break free. Scar activates and detaches a bomb in his wrist module before fleeing with Lex for the tunnel as the Grid and the other Xenomorphs give chase. Lex and Scar reach the surface as the bomb explodes, destroying the pyramid and wiping out the Xenomorphs. After escaping the blast, Scar uses Xenomorph blood to mark Lex's cheek as a sign of respect. Suddenly, a still alive Xenomorph Queen emerges from the ice and attacks the pair. After a lengthy battle, they hook the Queen's chains to a water tank, but Scar is impaled by the Queen's tail. Lex dislodges the water tank, which falls off a cliff and into the ocean, dragging the Queen with it towards the ocean floor. Scar dies from his wounds shortly after.
