This year, we're proud to introduce the West Lothian Pride Accessibility Bus as part of our parade for the very first time! We believe everyone should have the opportunity to take part in the march, and the addition of the Accessibility Bus helps make that a reality for those who may find walking the full route difficult. The bus will travel the full parade route alongside marchers, ensuring an inclusive and welcoming experience for all. Booking for spaces on the Accessibility Bus will be opening soon—keep an eye on our website and social media for updates!
For local residents, they added: "During the Pride Parade, there will be rolling road closures along the route (detailed above). These closures will be managed by Police Scotland and are designed to affect only a small number of roads at any one time. The parade may take up to hours to pass, so please allow extra time for travel and expect some delays in the area.
