The width of the Pro-version is similar to the reduced PS5, but the height in the vertical position is equal to the height of the standard console, released in 2020 - as much as 39 centimeters.
Compactness had to be sacrificed for the sake of improved components and cooling. Such an important feature as the ability to install the device vertically and horizontally has been preserved. The only problem is that the vertical stand will have to be purchased separately.

　言うまでもなく、実名は私たちが伝えなければならない事実の核心です。ニュースの真実性と信頼性を高める、捜査当局に代表される権力の監視、事後の検証性の確保─など、実名報道を必要とする理由は、いくつも挙げられます。

　中でも、私たちが一番に考えているのは、犯罪や事故によって理不尽にも命を奪われた方の「生きた証し」を、同じ社会を生きる仲間として分かち合いたい、という思いです。遺族らの怒り、悲しみも共有し、背景や問題点を探って同様の犠牲者を二度と生み出さない社会をつくりたい。私たちは日々、そうした思いを胸に取材を進めています。

　一方で、私たちは「やまゆり園事件」の被害者についてこれまで、一部の方を除き実名を報じていません。県警が事件発生当初に実名を発表しなかったことも理由の一つですが、その後の独自取材で被害者の氏名を把握した後も、匿名で報道し続けています。

　事件の発生直後は、安否を気遣う関係者にとって「亡くなったのは誰か」という情報は重要なニュースです。ただ、時間が経過するにつれ、「誰か」だけではなく「どのような方だったのか」がより重要になります。それには人柄や生前の様子などを当人に代わって語ってくれる遺族への取材が欠かせません。しかしながら現時点では、実名で報道するだけの取材は尽くせていません。

　匿名報道の理由は、もう一つあります。事件の犠牲者は障害のある方たちです。社会には依然として、障害者に対する偏見、差別が根強く残っています。それを許すべきではないと強調するにせよ、偏見や差別で苦しんできた遺族の「実名を明かさないでほしい」との願いを無視し、さらなる不利益を与えかねない報道をすることはできない、と判断しました。

　市民が納めた税金で運営される公的機関が得た情報は、市民の共有財産であるはずです。どのような情報も公開するのが原則で、私たちが「実名発表」を求める根源的な理由です。発表された実名を、実名のまま報じるか、例外的に匿名とするかは、報道機関が自ら判断する、というのが私たちの考えです。

　実名報道に関する私たちのこうした考えが被害者や遺族、多くの読者、市民に理解してもらえるよう、今後も取材と説明を尽くしていきます。
