I'm trying to use Onedrive and Onenote, but it seems to be really terrible 50% of the time. Sometimes when I log on my pc, it says I have to log in, and in doing so, is stuck on a "signing in" loop, until it says some error code about me not having an internet connection.
Here's what I've tried:
1. Close and open Onedrive
2. Removing auth from the pc and adding it again
3. Reinstalling Onedrive
4. Change Wi-Fi
5. Do a /reset in Windows run AND cmd
6. Update drivers
7. Install the newest Onedrive from the website
8. Try the app-version found in Windows Store
What am I supposed to do? I don't want to restart my pc every time it doesn't work, that's a terrible fix.

Domain controllers support two types of authenticated binds for LDAP which are Simple Binds and SASL (Simple Authentication and Security Layer). Using a Simple Bind for LDAP is similar to using Basic Authentication with a web server. In both cases the client provides a username and password in order prove its identity and without some form of session security those passwords traverse the network in the clear along with the data. Additionally, there is no way to detect if those messages have been modified during transit. To address those issues TLS (Transport Layer Security) is used to create a secure channel for the session. Technically TLS does not perform signing but instead achieves integrity through encryption. As a result, domain controllers requiring LDAP signing will accept simple binds if used with TLS.
Now, we can make this easier to understand and are doing so in a future Insiders release. We'll have a better error message and better description in the group policy, and I'll also update our various MS Learn documentation on signing and guest access. But I mostly hope everyone will stop using third party devices with guest access - they are dangerous.
florismkleijne HP Elitebook laptop, Windows 11 (language Norwegian), changed from 365 work account to personal 365 account earlier this year. Login to Windows with personal account. Had this problem with Microsoft Edge signing me out all the time.
Possible solution: Opened Settings, Accounts, Login options, deleted all Hello options (face recognition, finger print and PIN). Recreated these Hello options. I guess there was a connection to my earlier work account in these settings. After restart of laptop there is no problem with Edge signing me out (so far so good day at one). Will report back later this week.
