The Infamous comic is a six-issue mini-series, released bi-monthly between May and July 2011. It was published by DC Comics , in association with Sucker Punch, to coincide with the release of the second game in 2011. The comics take place in between the events of the first and the second game, showing how Cole escapes from Empire City to New Marais. The comic series was written by William Harms, one of the writers for the original game, and drawn by Eric Nguyen, with covers drawn by Doug Mahnke and Ed Benes . [ 17 ] In 2009, a graphic novel titled Infamous: Post Blast was released on IGN , which serves as a prequel to the main events of Infamous . The graphic novel had four chapters, each focusing on Cole MacGrath and John White trying to survive in the quarantined Empire City immediately after the blast. The story of Infamous: Post Blast takes place between the first two missions of Infamous: Introduction and First Glimpse.
The three districts (the Neon District , the Warren , and the Historic District ) are each home to a specific faction that Cole encounters. Due to the disaster that has occurred, Cole must restore power to several parts of these districts by venturing through several sewers and recharging the substations . The player is allowed to freely move around in the city, though the game must progress story-wise in order to gain access to other districts.
Sasha (VF : Laurence Crouzet ) : c'est une femme transformée en monstre, qui semble éprise de Cole, et qui tente de le piéger tout au long de l'histoire en communiquant par télépathie. Elle est à la tête des Faucheurs. C'est le premier boss du jeu.

Essentiellement, si vous souhaitez jouer à Infamous 2 ou Infamous : Festival of Blood, cela vous aiderait énormément de jouer à Infamous en premier. D'un autre côté, si vous souhaitez jouer à Infamous : First Light, optez d'abord pour Infamous : Second Son, car cela vous aidera à vous familiariser avec le gameplay et les autres éléments du jeu.
En décembre 2021, il est annoncé que Sony Pictures prépare un film en prise de vues réelles adapté de l’œuvre vidéoludique. Les détails concernant les personnages ou la trame de l'histoire ne sont pas connus [ 1 ] .
