from what i gather from other people is that the windows OS can only support up to 5 button mouses this is a limitation of the OS not the hardware since people using mac OS on pc hardware have no problem using and configuring the buttons. i have a Logitech g700
and i have to set the extra mouse buttons to keybind my number pad and then keybind my ability's to the keypad. people will have to setup there mice to keybinds till Microsoft supports mice with lets say 20+ buttons

There is software around to do this, but I never used it so dont recall any names. You could try googling or looking for gaming hack sites where controlling multiple mmo client's is a problem this type of software tends to solve (be aware this is a uela violation
for most mmo's if that's what you're doing).
